MIPIM 2015 – Four-country region Bodensee in the international arena

The Bodensee Standort Marketing (BSM) team is representing the region for the fourth time in a row at the international real estate fair in Cannes. From 10th to 13th of March, BSM is presenting the investment and business venue Four-country region Bodensee (Lake Constance) at MIPIM. The trade fair brings together the most influential actors from all relevant international real estate sectors and offers unique access to the largest number of development projects and sources of capital worldwide.

The booth in the German Cities & Regions Pavilion will also be well visited in 2015. “The Four-country region Bodensee scores especially by its diversity: four countries, an excellently developed structure of enterprise networks (clusters) and our educational landscape with 29 universities and extensive experience in cross-border cooperation are always impressing potential investors”, says Thorsten Leupold, the CEO of BSM.
By demonstrating specific investment projects of the BSM shareholders at the fair booth, the potential of the region can be presented exemplarily, whereas the region as a whole will be introduced to the international investors in round tables. In addition to innovation and investor communication, the top issue cross-border cooperation has an increasing influence.


International presence and acceptance is getting more and more important in the local competitions among regions. At MIPIM, the international Lake Constance economic area will be presented efficiently and sustainably under the umbrella of the Four-country region Bodensee. Thus, more than four thousand investors and a total of twenty-one thousand participants from 93 countries are given the opportunity to get to know the exciting diversity that characterizes our region. “Through a joint representation as the Four-country region Bodensee, a highly attractive area becomes addressable from an investor’s point of view. It is important to take advantage of the internationally aroused interest in order to ensure a high-quality marketing of our location factors”, sums up Doerte Gensow, Head of Public Relations & Regional Marketing at BSM.
